For centuries, the combination of rivers and cattle made it possible for the leather industry in the south of Holland to blossom. After 200 years of leather shoemaking it slowly evolved to leather furniture making. Lost and found is about re-discovering a piece of that history and incorporate it into ’now’. Together with Montis De Makers van produced the Lostandfound chair ( Miss Judith by Montis) using one of the last remaining heavy duty shoe-stitching machines in the Netherlands.
